Sokoto APC passes vote of confidence on Tambuwal

Sokoto State chapter Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Usman Suleiman Danmadamin has urged Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal not to be distracted by those whom he described some elements bent on destroying the party in the state.

Sokoto State chapter Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Usman Suleiman Danmadamin has urged Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal not to be distracted by those whom he described some elements bent on destroying the party in the state.

The chairman passed a vote of confidence on Governor Tambuwal whom he described as a resilient political pillar whose antecedents remain unprecedented.

“We were living witnesses to his struggle as then Speaker of HOR in the immediate past political dispensation. He is a committed and patriotic leader. As governor, he is demonstrating convincing political will to transform the infrastructural status of Sokoto state and ensure good governance for dividends of democracy to reach all nooks and crannies in the state”

Speaking to newsmen in Sokoto Wednesday in reaction to the outcome of the December 9th Supreme Court judgment, Danmadami hailed the judgment of the apex Court saying” it was in order and we are satisfied.”

The chairman who noted that the move by Senator Dahiru Umaru Tambuwal was not aimed at unseating the governor but to scuttle and destroy the party and it affairs.

“I am convinced that Dahiru’s action is a grand design aided by the opposition party to bring down APC ?in Sokoto state.

“He is acting the script of opposition party. We have not seen any offence that will hold waters and form basis ?of unseating Tambuwal for the fact that he was duly nominated as candidate of the party’s governorship election and won at the polls”, Danmadami pointed out.

The state APC chairman?, however, advised Senator Tambuwal to quietly appreciate the need to close ranks and keep the flag of the party flying in the state.

“He should embrace the principle of party loyalty and promote the ideals of APC through positive commitment”, he urged the Senator.
