Late Nollywood Vectran, Bukky Ajayi buried in Lagos

The remains of veteran actress, late Hajia Zainab Bukky Ajayi, have been interred at the Atan Cemetery in Yaba, Lagos on Wednesday evening according to Islamic rites.

Her burial rites began at her residence in Surulere before the corpse was taken to the cemetery.
Aunty Bukky, as she was fondly called, died earlier in the day at the age of 82.

She made her last public appearance at the 2016 AMVCA in March where she won the AMVCA Merit Award and cried bitterly on stage.
Standing ovation had greeted the announcement of the actress as she was wheeled to the stage to receive her priceless award.
With tears rolling her cheeks, the octogenarian actress pleaded with anyone she has offended to forgive her just as she has forgiven anyone that has offended her.
May her gentle soul continue to rest in peace!
