Dangote Cement Post Half Year Profit

Africa's largest producer of cement, Dangote Cement PLC has announced it's half year profit in tune of 121.8 billion ($614 million). The Nigerian based company said it made a 16 percent profit this year compared with 95.4 billion Naira made in same period last year.
The Company's C.E.O  Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest man, said in June that the cement unit is investing in 16 countries on the continent to tap demand for building materials as governments invest in infrastructure. The company is spending billions of dollars for expansion across the continent, it said in Thursday’s statement.
