He even asked some ladies for their phone which they bluntly refused.

At first people take very little interest in him; they walk by, seemingly annoyed that he is playing in the plaza. When he passes a ball or kicks it to them they just walk away or dodge it at first, but after a while a crowd starts to gather to watch. Ronaldo asks girls passing by for their numbers, but they refuse. Ronaldo asks other people to play with him, but most people are too busy with their day.
