Man’s Hand Chop off by Train in Lagos
A man who
was on his way to work had his hand chopped off by a moving train.
According to
eye witnesses, the victim fell from the roof top of the train and got his hand
stuck in between the coaches which resulted in his hand being chopped off, the
tragic incident happened at Oshodi, Lagos in the morning on the 10th
of February around 9a.m.
The victim
who was later identified as Ernest screamed for help and that attracted passersby
who came to his rescue.
His helpers
took his phone and called his relations to come and take him to the hospital.
One of the eye witnesses, Atoyebi
has this to say:
‘’The government had been
campaigning against hanging on the coach but many passengers are adamant and
they will have themselves to blame in case of eventuality,’’
He blamed the victim for the
tragedy, saying there have been campaigns by the government against such act.
