Amazing 3-Year-Old Girl With IQ of Over 160
A 3-year old girl has shocked the world with her amazing gift.
Alexis Martin, a three-year-old has become the youngest person in Arizona to be accepted into Mensa.
Mensa is the largest and oldest high IQ society in the world. It is a non-profit organization open to people who score at the 98th percentile or higher on a standardized, supervised IQ or other approved intelligence test.
Alexis was found to have an IQ of above 160, and has even taught herself Spanish!
Her mom and dad started to realize she was something special when she began to recite bedtime stories at 12-18 months old.
"We'd be driving around in the car and she would recite her bedtime story from the night before,” said her dad. “She didn’t just recite them, she recited them exactly.”
The parents say Alexis' use of adult apps on their iPad has helped her learn and she began reading at age two.
The parents are now debating whether Alexis should start kindergarten early. The average person's IQ is around 100.
