Yaya Toure bags Africa player of the year

The so much anticipated Glo Caf Award was held on the 9th of Jan 2014, while Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi took home the Coach of the year after reviving the national team and leading the Super Eagles to their first African Cup win in 20 years.
The Golden Eaglets took the trophy for the Youth team, as if that was not enough, Nigeria swept away all the other major awards at the event.
But the highest Award for the night the ‘African Player of the Year’ was won by Manchester City and Ivory Coast midfielder Yaya Toure, making it the third time in a row.
