Nollywood Actor, Saidi Balogun drags Ex-Wife, Fathia Balogun to court Over Usage of Last Name

Years after their separation, former Nollywood couple Saidi and Fathia Balogun are at war again.
This is not the first time the duo will engage in legal battle, few years ago Saidi Balogun vows to force Fathia to stop using his last name.

"She is my ex. As for my name that she is still answering, the deed will be done soon. The Nigerian law says that after three or four years, you can do something about it. If somebody wants to keep my name, what of the new person coming in? This has nothing to do with grudges." –said Saheed Balogun in an interview

In 2012, his estranged wife Fathia Balogun also said this in an interview:
"I laugh, my name is Fathia Balogun and it's going to remain Balogun; nobody can ever change that and nobody can stop me from answering that name."

As we speak, Nollywood insiders claim the 2012 interview Fathia granted  infuriated her ex-husband.

Saheed Balogun has filed a law suit that will force the star actress from using his last name.
If Saheed wins the case, the actress will be forced to change her name to Fathia Williams.
Fathia Balogun was born in Ukwara, Water Side LGA of Delta State on February 5th, 1969 to the family of Mr & Mrs Williams.

The couple has three kids together before their marriage crashed.
