Blind Man seeks aid on the Internet to keep Dog that Saved His LIfe

Cecil-williams-and-orlando A 61-year-old in New York City is soliciting the aid of good people to help him keep the dog that saved his life.
The blind man, whose name was Cecil Williams began to faint on the subway platform, sensing what was happening, the dog, simply named, Orlando, began making frantic effort to hold him up and stop him from falling into the rail tracks, when Orlando couldnt succeed, he slept by Cecil's side even when a train was coming, and when the train got to them, Williams and the dog managed to lay beneath it, escaping death.
 quoting the  transit flagman Larmont Smith “One more second, he would have been dead,” 15-year veteran of the Metropolitan Transit Authority, said he was screaming at Williams to duck his head.
 However, Orlando is about to be withdrawn from Williams as the dog is almost 11 years old and it's close to the retirement age for seeing eye dogs.

Indiegogo user Grant Kirsh, who lists himself as a "good Samaritan," launched a campaign on Wednesday to "help Cecil keep his best friend, who also saved his life." The campaign aims to raise $50,000 in the next two weeks. It has already collected more than $21,000, jumping $6,000 in the time it took to write this story.
