Two men were attacked and stripped naked over allegations of being human eaters.
Alaba Abiodun and Samuel would have faced the music were it not for the police arriving before the unfolding drama got out of hand.
The mob had resolved to burn them alive. The meat that had been found at their hideout was suspected to have been human flesh.
The police however let the men go after intense questioning which made the police to conclude that the members of the public were mistaken: that the two did not eat human flesh.
