20 People Killed by Bomb Blast

The Boko Haram scourge is yet to go off anytime soon as 20 people lost their lives as a result of abandon explosives left by the Islamic extremist when they fled. The incident occurred at the North-eastern town of Moguno which is about 135 Km from the north-east town of Borno State capital, Maiduguri. An eyewitness, Haruna Bukar told newsmen that armed civilians against Boko Haram were patrolling the neighbourhood when they came across the parcel in an abandoned militant camp. It was gathered by a reporter that while the people gathered around it to celebrate this discovery, one of the Improvised explosives devices (IEDS) went off killing and injuring people who had gathered around. .

26 Year Old Single Mum Wins $188 Million in Lottery

Marie Holmes, a mother of four  from North Carolina, USA bought one of the three winning tickets estimated to be about  $564.1 million. Excerpt from yahoo news ... Television news station WECT reported the numbers on 26-year-old Marie Holmes' ticket matched those from the Wednesday night jackpot drawing, the third largest in the game's history and one of the largest lottery jackpots ever in the United States. In a television interview, Holmes, who lives in Shallotte, said she has four children and had been looking for work. She said she was grateful for the chance to provide more for them. "I don't think it's really hit me yet," she said. "I guess when it hits my account, that's when it's really going to hit me." North Carolina lottery officials said on Friday they had not yet received the winning ticket, sold at a convenience store in the coastal town of Shallotte.

Indian Authorities are to destroy Noodles worth over £32m after finding it unsafe for human consumption. The destruction of this large amount of item will deal a major blow to the Company as it is become one of the fastest growing brand in the country. The products was ordered off the shop shelf when Officials discover that it contain high level of lead. However, Nestle maintain that the products are safe to eat, The standard limit of leads in the country is between 0.01 and 2.5 parts per million. Consumption of excessive lead may result in damage of the bones, the nervous system, and kidneys. It has also been associated with disorderliness in Children. Nestle India is currently challenging the ban imposed by India's food safety regulator

The death of another celebrity has been spreading all over the internet, it read thus; “ At about 11 a.m. ET on Friday (June 12, 2015), our beloved actor Jackie Chan passed away. AU Summit delegate robbed by bogus Nigerian cops in South Africa

  JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng police have confirmed a delegate due to attend the 25th African Union (AU) Summit was robbed while travelling from OR Tambo International Airport to Sandton on Wednesday night. It's believed the men who robbed Nigerian official Gabriel Gundo were posing as Nigerian police officers on Marlboro Drive in Sandton. The 55-year-old was robbed of $500 and R700. Gundo found himself at the Sandton Police Station in the early hours of this morning to make a statement about his ordeal shortly after arriving in South Africa. He was pulled over by an unknown number of men in a Hyundai at the Marlboro and N1 Highway interchange while travelling to his hotel in Sandton. He said the men produced Nigerian police identification. The Hawks are now looking into whether the robbery was planned or if Gundo’s cab was followed from the airport. The International Relations Department has said the incident will be handled by the police.
