World’s Tallest Man Meet World's Smallest Woman For A Photoshoot

Have you met a 24-year-old woman that is just 2 feet tall?

I bring to you Jyoti Amge, an Indian woman notable for being the world's smallest living woman in the world according to Guinness World Records.
Amge’s height is due to a form of dwarfism called achondroplasia. It is a genetic disorder that affects bone growth, causing short stature and disproportionately short limbs. She was declared the shortest woman in the world in 2001 at the age of 18. At that time, she weighed just 11 pounds!

Jyoti Amge (2 ft 0.6 in) and Sultan Kösen (8 ft 2.82 in) met up in Egypt for a photoshoot and the resulting pictures are amazing! The project was organized by the Egyptian tourism promotion board, and it’s safe to say it is garnering quite a bit of attention.

Howbeit, she looks roughly the size of Kosen’s shoes!

And who is Sultan Kosen?

Sultan Kosen is a Kurdish man from Turkey, born 10 December 1982
he has 4 siblings (3 brothers and a sister) who are of normal height, he's abnormal growth was as a result of a condition known as acromegaly caused by a tumour affecting his pituitary gland. (is a disorder that results from excess growth hormone (GH) after the growth plates have closed. The initial symptom is typically enlargement of the hands and feet. There may also be enlargement of the forehead, jaw, and nose. Other symptoms may include joint pain, thicker skin, deepening of the voice, headaches, and problems with vision. Complications of the disease may include type 2 diabetes, sleep apnea, and high blood pressure).
His stature is such that he uses crutches in order to walk.

Sultan Kösen is the Guinness World Record for the tallest living male at 251 centimetres (8 ft 2.82 in).

Sultan Kosen poses with his wife Merve Dibo on October 27, 2013, in Mardin during his wedding ceremony.

In 2010, Kösen started treatment for his pituitary tumour at the University of Virginia Medical School and was provided with medication to control his excessive levels of growth hormone. It was confirmed in March 2012 that the treatment had been effective in halting Kösen's growth.
